Who am I?
Well, isn’t that all about perception?
Ask a 100 different people who’ve spent time with me this question and you’ll likely get a 100 different answers. However, there’ll probably be some common mentions – imaginably including my passion for nature, photography and language.
These interests have all accompanied me since I was a child. Throughout the years I’ve found different ways to explore, express and (to some extent) share them.
In creative contexts, I try to let myself be guided by childlike awe and discovery. Dirty clothes, wet feet, bruises and scratches are typical – and also completely acceptable – side effects.
The feeling of wonder at close encounters with nature’s intricate beauty and resilience makes it all worth it.
As I’m based in Sweden, most of my photography is of this country’s varied nature. While my subjects are quite diverse, macro photography of insects, plants and mushrooms as well as (semi) abstract photography are my favourite genres.
I'm a spectator of the scenes that end up before my lens rather than someone who creates or interferes with them. I don’t use any props to enhance my photography and I aim to keep my editing minimal and natural.
